As economics is an in-depth and broad academic area in which social and economic issues are theoretically and practically studied in the context of history, reality, policies and practices, the College of Economics offers a broad spectrum of courses. The basic theoretical courses include major and minor principles of economics, macroeconomics and microeconomics, while the applied courses include economic development and change, finance, international economics, industry and enterprises, public economics, public finance, labor, welfare, information, culture, knowledge, environment, regional economics and life economics. The College also provides courses on the history of economics and economic ideas as well as econometrics, and optional courses such as business administration, accounting, international studies, politics and social studies. Economics involves professional knowledge in economics, and an understanding of the principles of the economy, which is the basis of human society. Therefore, learning economics is a shortcut to learning about the basic principles of the movement and the development of a society.
