PNU&CNU G-LAMP Project team held The 2nd CNU&PNU G-LAMP International Conference
Pusan National University’s G-LAMP Project Team, in collaboration with the G-LAMP Project Team at Chonnam National University (CNU), held The 2nd CNU & PNU G-LAMP International Conference from August 27 to 29 at Hidden Cliff Hotel & Nature in Jeju.
Supported by Korea’s Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea, the international conference aimed to strengthen basic-science-based interdisciplinary research collaboration addressing global challenges in climate, environment, and energy, while expanding academic exchange among researchers from Korea and abroad.
Around 100 researchers participated in the conference, including researchers from PNU and CNU as well as international participants from Germany, Thailand, China, Japan, and Taiwan. The program featured keynote lectures, oral presentations, poster presentations, and Outstanding Poster Presentation Awards.
The keynote lectures were delivered by Professor Kazunari Domen of the University of Tokyo and Professor Wolfgang Parak of the University of Hamburg, who shared recent research developments in sustainable energy and advanced materials.
Researchers from PNU and CNU also discussed opportunities to establish stronger joint research structures and expand interdisciplinary research collaboration, further strengthening connections among researchers working across climate, environmental, and energy-related fields.
