Pusan National University Secondary Battey Convergene and Open Sharing System project team operated a Global Academic Exchange Program for Secondary Batteries during the summer break, with visits to Hong Kong from July 21 to 24, Japan from August 4 to 7, and China from August 18 to 21.

The program was designed to strengthen students’ global competencies through academic exchange with overseas universities and research institutions, while broadening their international perspectives on the secondary battery field.

Participants visited leading universities and research institutions, including The University of Hong Kong, Yokohama National University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where they explored the latest trends in secondary battery research as well as current trend in education and industry, and toured research facilities.

Through exchanges with local researchers, experts, and students, participants gained first-hand insight into the different research and industrial environments of each country and deepened their understanding of the field. The program also provided opportunities to build global networks and lay the groundwork for future international academic collaboration.

The Project Team plans to continue offering a range of global programs to cultivate internationally competitive talent in secondary battery convergence.
