With the rapid informatization of society, there is an ever-growing demand for statistics. This robustness of demand has stimulated new statistical theories, and these theories have been actively applied to diverse sectors of society. The Statistic Research Institute was established to meet these demands. It aims to apply existing theories and develop new theories to meet statistical needs. The center contributes to the development of the local community through systematic cooperation with related local organizations, as a central local research institute. The center stimulates the research activities of the university and its graduate students, distributes statistical approaches through lectures and educational programs, and continuously offers statistical services to support the data analysis and decision making of the university.
