Korean Painting Major
Students majoring in Korean Painting complete their training to develop an oriental value system, a creative and experimental spirit, and a forward-thinking mindset as artists. They also acquire professional knowledge through theoretical education, and develop creative and unique ways of expression through education that is customized for each individual student. The program aims to develop talented artists and instructors through a systematic practical and theoretical education.
Painting Major
The Painting Major aims to generate forward-looking arts experts and instructors who have a creative and progressive spirit, and the unique and innovative expression techniques that will help them to meet the needs of our rapidly changing society in the 21st century.
Students majoring in Painting are encouraged to acquire a broad theoretical knowledge and to develop their critical thinking in order to reach their full potential as artists. The curriculum for the Painting Major encompasses a broad range of courses, from theoretical sessions to basic painting techniques and experimental modern paintings, with the aim of producing artists with creative and artistic minds and the spirit of the times.
Sculpture Major
The Sculpture Major aims to generate professional and creative sculptors who will be leaders in contemporary art and who have excellent command of 3D spaces, structures, materials and innovative experiments.
The curriculum of the Sculpture Major includes the comprehensive study of the concepts and expression of creative thinking, as well as the practical study of traditional sculptural work. As such, students develop into artists who can play pivotal roles in Korean arts.
